OPPORTUNITY:
HOYA Vision Care Canada is recruiting for a talented Lens Grinder/Polisher who will be trained to run several machines in order to grind the ophthalmic lenses down to the patient's prescription, and prepare the lenses for the next laboratory within our facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

Please note that this role is considered as an entry-level position within our  production facility.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
-Minimum of completed High School Education
-Minimum of 1 year experience in a production and manufacturing environment.
-Basic math and computer skills are required to operate machinery.
-Quicker learner
-Positive attitude and team player
-Able to prioritize and are organized
-Candidates must be flexible in their hours.
-Optical experience is not necessary, but is considered an asset.
